FLSPCA Leadership Transition

FLSPCA Leadership Transition

As the President of the Board of the Finger Lakes SPCA I wanted you to hear directly from me on behalf of the full board that Vicki Mosgrove will be leaving the organization effective May 6, 2023.

During Vicki’s tenure, the FLSPCA has grown and flourished. We have established Project Catnip, a low cost spay/neuter program, moved to our current location at River’s Edge Farm, and of course, rehomed hundreds of cats and dogs.

You should know that I am working with the Board of Directors to develop a strong interim plan to ensure our organization has steady leadership through this transition. With that plan in place, we will turn our attention to finding a leader with the skills and attributes to build on the foundation already in place.

Should you have any questions, please email me at president@fingerlakesspca.org, or call (607) 776-3039 to leave a message for a return call. The Finger Lakes SPCA is eager to hear your questions, concerns, and ideas as we lead the organization forward.

Stay tuned for our interim plans and search process details. And as always, we are enormously grateful to each of you and the contributions you have made to the vital work of the Finger Lakes SPCA.

Sincerely,

Jean A. Peterson
